Eric Hirsch

Eric Hirsch is currently consulting, supporting organizations on strategy and systems change. He was the Founding Chief Executive Officer of EdReports, a nonpartisan, independent nonprofit providing rigorous reviews of the alignment and quality of yearlong instructional materials. He led EdReports from startup into a trusted national resource, publishing more than 1,300 reviews and helping educators across the country make informed decisions about the materials they use to support teaching and learning. Prior to EdReports, he was the Chief External Affairs Officer at the New Teacher Center, the Executive Director of the Center for Teaching Quality and the Education Program Manager at the National Conference of State Legislatures. Over 30 years he has supported policymakers across the country, keynoted at numerous conferences, and written and published more than 150 articles, book chapters, reports and policy briefs.
