DR. MATTHEW CAMPBELL

Dr. Matthew Campbell is a senior lecturer in the Department of Leadership, Policy, and Organizations at Vanderbilt University. He teaches primarily in the Leadership and Learning in Organizations Ed.D. program, where he also serves as the capstone director. Before his time at Vanderbilt, Matthew served as the director of teacher education at the University of North Alabama and as an assistant professor in the Department of Secondary Education. He also previously worked as an instructional coach and director of professional development for the Memphis Teacher Residency, as well as a teacher within the Memphis City/Shelby County School System. 

Dr. Campbell writes and presents regularly at state, national, and international conferences. He’s written extensively about the use of improvement science as a lever for systemic improvement in education.
