Rob Roy brings over 40 years of expertise in research compliance to his role as a board member, including three decades of leadership at the Georgia Institute of Technology (GT). His extensive career includes serving as a researcher, principal investigator, department administrator, and associate director for research and administration at one of GT’s prominent research centers. He is currently on assignment with the System Office of the University System of Georgia, contributing to system-wide initiatives in research oversight and policy.
Rob is a nationally recognized speaker on research compliance, frequently presenting at regional and national conferences. He also plays a key role in professional development at GT, where he designs curriculum and leads workshops through the Office of Research Education, Outreach & Strategic Support.
His deep institutional knowledge, commitment to ethical research practices, and dedication to education make him a valuable asset to the board focused on advancing integrity and innovation.
