Dr. Victoria Giordano currently serves as the dean of the School of Education at Florida Southern College. In that capacity, she oversees the teacher preparation elementary and secondary education programs, the MEd and MAT programs in Transformational Curriculum and Instruction, the MEd in Educational Leadership program, and two doctoral programs. Additionally, the Florida Southern College Early Learning Center, a laboratory preschool for three- and four-year-old children in the community, is under Dr. Giordano’s supervision, along with the Florida Southern College Teacher Workshop program which offers to teachers fully online courses that can serve to meet Florida Department of Education certification and recertification requirements.


She has authored, co-authored, and/or directed numerous local, state, and federal grants focused on innovative curriculum and pedagogies for p-16 learners, several with a focus on personnel preparation. She has served as an evaluator for funded grants for afterschool programs whose purpose was to improve the health and academic performance of underserved school-age children.



Victoria earned her B.S. in Elementary Education and M.S. in Computer Studies from Nova University. She earned her Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a cognate in Instructional Leadership from Florida International University.
